Jodie Gale
MA. Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, Dip. Psychotherapy, Dip. Therapeutic Counselling, CMPanZA, CMCAPA.

For over ten years, Jodie lived in London where she had a private psychotherapy and counselling practice alongside working for charities, creative and corporate organizations. In 2006, after many travels throughout Europe, Africa and Asia, Jodie returned to live on the Northern Beaches in Sydney where she runs a successful private psychotherapy and counselling clinic for individuals and couples. With over 15 years of experience in the field of psychology and 1000+ clinical hours, Jodie is a preferred service provider for  South Pacific Private Addiction & Mood Disorder Treatment Centre. She contributes to psychotherapy and counselling journals, magazine articles and blogs.

Jodie is passionate about putting the soul back into therapy and always holds the context that at the core of each person, they are whole and unbroken. Her  journey as a psychotherapist and counsellor began after having a 'peak experience' swimming with wild dolphins in Ireland. This led to a deep exploration of her inner and outer world which helped her to find a sense of value, meaning and purpose out of her own suffering.

Jodie's eight year training in psychosynthesis psychotherapy and counselling was rigorous and consisted of over 500 clinical hours, 50 case presentations and over 500 hours of personal, couples and group psychotherapy. She is a clinical member of Psychosynthesis Aotearoa New Zealand Australia, the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW and a provisional member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Jodie regularly participates in clinical supervision and post graduate training, workshops and conferences for professional, personal and spiritual development.
