1 Day Introduction to Psychosynthesis

This workshop is an introduction to the basic principles of psychosynthesis as a holistic model of heath and well-being.

Workshop Content

-The relevance of psychosynthesis as a psycho-social-spiritual model of health and well-being

-Introduction to the psychosynthesis model of the psyche

-Personal and spiritual elements of growth

-A model for finding value, meaning and purpose out of life suffering

The Introduction to Psychosynthesis will provide you with an opportunity to enrich your personal, professional and spiritual development.

This course is also useful for organizations and professionals who wish to apply the principles of Psychosynthesis and to incorporate a spiritual element into your current psycho-social discipline. Course material can be modified to meet your company and clients’ specific needs (e.g a focus on addiction, working with specific groups of people).

The Fundamentals of Psychosynthesis

Facilitated by Jodie Gale & Trisha Stratford

This course is designed as a deeper introduction to the fundamental methodology and models of psychosynthesis as a holistic model of health and well-being. It is of particular interest if you are attempting to understand and integrate personal and spiritual experiences and dilemmas. The course is an opportunity to deepen your inner journey. It provides a framework for finding a sense of value, meaning and purpose out of life suffering.

Course Content

  • The psychosynthesis psycho-social-spiritual model of the psyche
  • Balancing body, feelings, mind, sexuality and spirituality
  • Subpersonalities: how to recognize and work with the ‘parts’ and the ‘whole’
  • Self-identity and disidentification: presence, mindfulness and the art of detachment
  • Crisis of duality: the personal and the spiritual
  • The will and freedom of choice
  • Synthesis and evolution
  • Creative expression and the act of will

What can you expect?

All psychosynthesis courses are a combination of experiential exercises and psycho-education. Other methods include the use of guided imagery, symbolic artwork, journaling, meditation, mindfulness techniques and small and large group work.

PhD. Neuroscience, MA. Psychotherapy, MA. Counselling, Dip. Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, Dip. Mediation, AABCAP,  CMPACFA. Trisha trained at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in New Zealand. She has over 20 years in clinical, teaching and supervision experience.
