All of these coaching courses are tailored to meet your needs. They run for 6-12 sessions for individuals and/or 1-2 day workshops for groups of 2 or more. Please contact me for further information. Grow: Do you have a New Year's resolution, a new project or idea that you would like to bring to fruition? Or are you stuck in a rut, unmotivated or caught in unhealthy life patterns? In Psychosynthesis, we see that achieving goals isn't just about having strong will; we need to activate goodwill and skilful will also. We will explore purpose, meaning and value in your life, achieving your goals, self-sabotage, freeing your will (your life energy) from the maintaining cycles that stop you from achieving your goals and finally, you will build tools for lasting change. Reconnect: Are you feeling disconnected from your ‘authentic’ self? These sessions will incorporate meditation and mindfulness techniques, living in the present moment, journaling, guided visualizations, connecting with your inner wisdom as well as an exploration of the causes that keep you disconnected from yourself. Anger Management: Anger and rage can manifest in many ways. For some people it is explosive (road rage, domestic violence, slamming doors etc). For others, it might be implosive which means that the anger is turned towards the self (self-criticism) or perhaps the anger is squashed down with food, alcohol or cigarettes. Getting stuck in anger is often a way of covering up or avoiding pain. We will explore the underlying reasons for your anger, learning tools to help you manage and express it in a healthy way. This includes using mindfulness techniques. Building Self Esteem: These sessions will be about building a sense of self worth, self confidence and self esteem. We will explore areas such as feeling insecure, feeling shame, creating boundaries, negative thought patterns, creating self respect and feeling good about who you are! Inner Child: Throughout our life’s journey, we have 2 stories, the one we show and tell to the outside world and the one we keep deeply hidden. In Psychosynthesis, this is known as the 'Journey of the Soul'. We will explore the story of your unfolding authentic Self. This will include getting to know your 'inner child' and finding ways to express yourself more congruently. Body, Feelings, Mind, Sexuality and Spirituality: Often we are over identified with only parts of ourselves. These sessions will explore which aspects you are most comfortable with and the ones that you are not so comfortable with. We will look at how you can come into better relationship with each of these, subsequently leading to a more balanced life. The Masks We Wear: Do you ever find yourself saying, ‘I don’t know what came over me’, ‘I was beside myself’ or ‘One part of me wants this but another part wants that’? These sessions will explore the identifications with the different masks you wear, the various roles you play and how these identifications affect your personal and professional relationships. We will also explore your needs and how to begin to satisfy them. This course is about accepting and expressing all of who you are; the light and the shadow! Relationships: In this course we will explore important relationships in your life and tease out any patterns that are holding you back from what you want and need in order to have fulfilling and intimate relationships. This might include your relationship with: Self, family, friends, partners, work colleagues, animals or nature. We explore right relating, how to be more on the level with yourself and others and how to set healthy boundaries. Where Am I Going and What's in My Way?: Lacking value, meaning or purpose in your life? Not handling change very well? These sessions are for you. We will explore what change means to you, alongside that, we will explore what it is that you need to develop and nourish to enable you to get to where you want to go.
